Research

1 preprint · 2 BSc theses

Interests: optimal transport and its applications; stochastic processes and dynamical systems; mathematical and combinatorial optimization.

  1. 2026 · Preprint, under review

    Exact branch-and-cut for terrain-aware orienteering

A new orienteering variant with direction-dependent costs and cumulative fatigue, solved exactly on real terrain.

  2. 2025 · BSc thesis

Discrete Dynamical Systems in Low Dimensions

How discrete dynamical systems arise from discretizing differential equations: stability of fixed points, including the non-hyperbolic case, perturbations of monotone systems and period-doubling bifurcations, and a proof of chaos for the logistic family via symbolic dynamics.

  3. 2025 · BSc thesis

    Functional Data Analysis

Statistics for data in which each observation is an entire curve rather than a single number, such as the yield curve of government bonds across maturities. Covers how to represent and smooth these curves, cluster them, and use them in regression, with applications to financial time series.
